Paddles
The beachball paddles are handcrafted from natural woods such as linden, black walnut, and oak, and then sealed with eco-varnish. This protects the paddles from splashes and allows them to be used on the beach during holidays without any problems.
Signs of wear are naturally unavoidable for a sports product made of wood. In general, we recommend treating the paddles accordingly. Our neoprene bag with a divider is perfectly suited to prevent unnecessary scratches (often caused by sand).
As with all wood products, it helps to seal the frescobol paddles with varnish or natural oil (olive oil, sunflower oil, etc.) on unroughened areas. However, this is only necessary for optical reasons.
EASY HACK: Sometimes some areas of the paddle become a bit rough after intensive use. In this case, rubbing with a strip of cardboard is enough to get the surface smooth again.
Balls
The red play ball is made of foam and is better suited for beginners who want to start with slower rallies and a ball that more easily forgives a lack of control. Due to its soft surface, the ball should not come into contact with sharp or pointed objects.
The orange rubber play ball is harder and is suitable for advanced players who value fast and hard rallies. Due to its material, the ball can be used in all environments. Due to its slightly higher weight, it is also the better choice in strong winds, for example.
